FWIW, I used a BS2 for all the control and sound effects in the prototype of this toy: http://www.amazon.com/Wheels-Story-Claw-Rescue-Track/dp/B0030F6V7S
One project I started years ago was to use web-cams and short range radio to keep track of open spaces and broadcast them. In the Bay Area there is a need for such a thing. Some of the parking garages here keep track of the number of empty spaces on each floor on an LED "tote-board" at the entrance.
My favorite parking structure of all time is a garage in Taipei. Sadly I can't find a picture. It was sort of like 3 "Lazy Susans" on their side with platforms for the cars to go up and down for storage. Reminded me of a juke box for some reason.
Speed Racer Sky Jump Track Set
Every time I try and put that track together for my daughter, she has to leave the room because the ratings go off the chart due to language. Once built though, it is a fun time!
BTW, that set was recently reprised in a slightly different theme: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hot-Wheels-Fire-Frenzy-Track/dp/B004U5FRQI
We even built a parking deck - 350 spaces.
Sometimes, it even has cars in it!!
LOL. Oh boy. Reminds me of the San Jose Light-Rail system. It's always "light" because no one rides it. It's also constantly getting in my way :<
