Hey Gang,

I added a couple items to the Bargain Bin today, as well as several items to standard inventory.
You'll also find is that prices have been reduced between 25-40% across the most of the inventory.
Rebekah and I are serious about being your source for Propeller products and the parts you need most.

I'd like to extend an additional invitation to visit our forums and say "hello" to a few new Propeller users.

Holy Smile! LCDs for $3! Prop protoboards for $13! Do you make ANYTHING on these?

I'll have to place an order for AT LEAST some of those LCD's this week, is there a current object for driving them available? What is the shipping cost?

When you place your order be sure to buy a Multi-Board Enclosure. They're pretty small, but the stand-offs and screws alone are worth 99 cents :)

Better get those LCDs while you can.. Someone has almost cleaned me out tonight with a larger order for them.

I will get those back in, just don't have any idea when. I think there are 2 or 3 left right now.

My brother-in-law just got a 24x24 Epilog laser. Are the cad files for those enclosures proprietary or open?

The design was originally created by MattG at Parallax. I'm willing to bet we could obtain those design files very readily. Matt?

    Jeff,
Looked at some of the SMT videos, not bad, but there is a lot to be said for zephpaste and hot air soldering tip. Also, some luck on ebay can occasionally turn up some good surgical loupes. I found the standard mag glasses for panavice and clones have too much distortion and too little space between the glass and the work. But one comment stated flux is magic, and that is very true. I was able to talk the powers that be into the low end aoyue unit showing it could result in saving $4.5k on a single component level fix with it. Does ok, but we will be upgrading the whole work station having proof of concept.

    Massimo -
Actually let's blame OBC, because he called them "multi-board" enclosures first !

    @Microcontroller:

I've got one LCD unit left. Paypal's inventory counter can be a little wonky, so I had +1 just in case. Contact me and I'll get this out to you.
You'll find the object on the LCD page in the Bargain Bin. I'll leave it online to make sure everyone gets a driver.

Well then, looks like the real culprit is MattG - yeah that's it, let's blame him!

Thanks, OBC! I'm going to place the order, how do I get the charge added to the total if it rejects it? (I already have one in my cart, but I don't think it will let me keep it)

EDIT: Yea, it won't let me keep it. When I place the order, I'm going to order 6 multiboard enclosures. I really only want 3, so send 3 and use the other $3 for the LCD.

I got my order in on Friday. Those little cases for 99 cents are awesome, and that $3 LCD is huge! I can't get it working yet, but I'll work on it more when I have the chance.
