WOW!!!! Now I see what all the hype is about with the Propeller. I have only just begun and I must say that I am extremely impressed. I think I may be on the verge of selling all my Stamp items so I can buy more Prop toys!!! I can actually SEE what I am doing and my next lesson is to make it speak some words of joy to my wife. (She has the misconception that I wasted my money on the Demo Board!!!) I can't wait to get it implemented in my bot project. The real bummer part is that I have most of my coding down for the Stamps that were going to go on it. Now, I can do it all with one Microcontroller instead of 3 or 4!!!!

I built my own clone of the Demo Board and SHE still thought that it was a waste of money. the only new bit on it was the Prop, but over here, then, they were £15 ($20+) each.

As for getting "all of those individual processors into one chip" my addled brain still thinks of individuals (with interupts) SORRY ;-(

If you REALLY want to freak out try propforth. Once you get your head around the stack thing, coding is much faster than in many other languages, owning to the less complex syntax. Its interactive, so you can test each lille finction as you are typing it. You don;t have to spend time for recompile, new code is compiled when you hit enter. Execution speed is just about that of assembler. You'll love it.
