I have taken, Jonny Mac's original design, updated by the Gadget Gangster, and, I think, made it better, while holding the price down.

PPTH.jpg

- beefed up power traces to go with the beefed up voltage regulators

- side mounted reset switch for easy access

- two AT24C1024B Megabit EEPROMs, 256 KBytes total, instead of 24LC512s giving only 128 KBytes total

- got rid of the extraneous 3.3v and +5v LEDs … left only the Vin LED as power indication.

- power connector and terminal block can both be mounted

- supply double row socket headers

- 5 pin programming connector accepts, in addition to Prop Plug, Wulfden P1 and Bill Hennings Ser Plug

- OPTIONAL - 6.25 MHZ crystal for 100 MHz operation, SD card holder (also shown)

The basic kit is priced at $37 plus S/H. Is available now.

It can be seen at http://www.wulfden.org/TheShoppe/prop/prplat.shtml

    Excellent!

The forum requests, and you respond.

    Thanks for providing this.

Great! Nice to see people keeping Propeller Platform going...
I have a lot of customers asking about where they can get a Propeller Platform board...

    Nice! 2x 128KB EEPROMs? Wow.

    Cheers.

I am working on an I2C board with the remaining 2 of the 4 allowed EEPROMs, a dS1307 RTC and an A2D and maybe a uSD. Any suggestions for the I2C A2D would be welcome.

The PropBOE ADC has some drivers already.
It may be useful to offer alternative I2C channel pins for the ADC socket via 3-way headers.

So you plan to have 4 DIP8 sockets? That's a nice idea. All it costs is real-estate and sockets.
