    Okay, I misunderstood. But a file system that cannot load programs? I guess that is useful, but we always want more --- don't we?

    Just using the SDcard to read, write and store data is indeed useful in some contexts - data record, WAV player, video data files.

    Thanks for your efforts, they seem headed in the right direction.
