Self-Driving Car Now Legal in California

I can't wait for this to be legalize over here. The roads are so congested that the whole country (island) is a huge parking lot!

    Actually, I think there is a great opportunity here. On I-5 in Sourthern California there is a stretch of freeway with notorious Tule Fog during parts of the year. Self-driving cars can convoy up to avoid serious accidents in such conditions. If the whole convoy is given a timed slot to transist the section of freeway, the huge pile ups and the fatalties may become something of the past.

    Convoys could alternate between semi-truck convoys and passenger car convoys so that everyone gets through on a reasonable schedule.
