Hey guys, I just recognized a name at the Open Hardware Summit!!

The after lunch session starts at 3PM ET and I believe David is the second speaker!

[h=1]Finding the Limits of Open Hardware: Examples and End Cases[/h]
We have been working on the Open Source Hardware definition for over two years, but some things are still not clear. Where is the line between open and closed hardware? What rights can a company or individual reserve while still keeping the spirit of the definition? When have they gone too far?
About David Carrier
David Carrier has worked for Parallax inc. for over six years and is currently acting as their open-source liaison. He has developed many open-source hardware products for Parallax, including the Propeller QuickStart, available at your local RadioShack.

You can find it on USTREAM here.

It's been a great summit so far, tune in to see David!!

They're doing good on time - they're well into session 3 which ends at 4:45PM ET. They are keeping them pretty tight on time.

Amanda Wozniak was just on - good stuff about designing for open source.

    Have fun at Maker Faire!

It's 1:40 pm Pacific - did we miss David Carrier's presentation?

I see that MindRobots is lurking, so maybe it occurs at 5 pm Eastern when they return from the coffee break.
