Hello Everyone!

I just accepted a new high school teaching job (Engineering) and was totally delighted to see ~20 brand new stamp kits in one of the closets!

I partially assembled one of them to show students what can be done - lots of fun in store for us!!! :)

And, as it turns out, my boss LOVES parallax stuff and encouraged me to order more!!!

Looking forward to posting our progress - I'm very psyched!

Woo hoo!!!

    XLNT and congrats on your new job. I bet Ken & Jim Carey will take further good care of you. They are generous to a fault. I love those guys!

    He's probably pleased to have someone who even knows what it is... :)

    Congrats, Scope! It's a great day for everybody. I'm an unofficial teacher at a middle and high school robotics program, 2x a week. Enjoying it a whole bunch because we have great hardware to use. Let us know how it works out!

    This is often the case and very true.

    He taught electronics and engineering curricula for 15 years - nicest guy ever AND he not only knows what mechatronics is all about, he loves mechatronics!

    Mega-Thanks everyone!

    I guess I should have posted this in the Stamp thread but . . . guess who's got plans for using 8 cogs of ecstasy?

    I'd really like to have some "naked" sumo bot kits so we could blah, blah, blah. This weekend I'll peruse the Parallax store and get a list of fun . . . er, I mean educational items.

    @scope you lucky instructor you!

    When I took over my classroom, I was left with a truckload of broken VCRs and Televisions. (I literally had a dump truck parked behind my classroom over the first weekend just to clean house!) Kudos to you for bringing Parallax to the classroom. Wish I had known about them when I was teaching.
