Hi all.
I was thinking if could be possible to play an internet radio using a spinneret web server, what do you think ?

    I've thought about making an internet radio... You don't really need a "server", just a client.
    Also, I believe you need an MP3 decoder.
    The VLSI VS1003 (at SparkFun) will do this, I think... They mention being able to process streams.
    I thought I'd have a VS1003 adapter for Propeller for sale by now, but it needs a bit more work...

    Well the typical MP3 stream is about 16kB/s - sounds feasible to me but I suspect RAM buffering would be needed, perhaps only 64kB SRAM? Good luck and report back!

    [actually thinking about it serving internet radio from an SDcard would be fun too]

    You can take a look at www.vlsi.fi. If I'm not wrong, you could do that with a VS1000 Module as well (internet radio with OGG instead of MP3).
