SoundPal frequencies and underwater

So I got my Mystery bag, and it was way cool. I need to generate sound clicks around 220Hz. One of the items in the MB is the soundpal. I do see low frequencies on the soundpal are not as loud, as higher frequencies. Can the SoundPal generate frequencies that low? I read a study where young corn plants emitted and responded to 220Hz clicks. I do have a contact mic and built a FET buffer to try and record this, thought I don't think I have all the kinks out yet. Part of the study, they show the roots of the corn plants growing towards the sound source underwater. I am hoping to use the soundpal because of standalone generator with speaker.

Based on the data available I am fairly certain it can generate 220Hz signals, but looking at the size of the speaker and the voltage used the output level would be very small. You would probably need to add an amplifier and larger speaker.
