There's lots of space apps for a 3D printer. We could send printers in space to create the satellites and planetary probes after they are enroute near destination. Once on Mars, they could print lots of humanoids. Also, I'd like to print a few of the smaller planets for educational purposes. A 3D map of Mars would be very useful (don't get pricked by Olympus Mons!). One could print some rockets for the Micro Space Program and make more comfortable capsule cabins for insect astronauts and special springs to help shock absorb the lift-off g-force.
