He's got over 3 million views so it's making him some money. What impact does presenting false information as educational have - especially to younger people?

Incidentally, it is my understanding that when you view an embedded YouTube video, it does not count towards the monetized views.

What does it do? Kills brain cells and drops the IQ of anyone that watches that video.

It also prepares kids who will grow up to make those utterly useless products like stick on cell phone antenna boosters, etc.

I have a lot more comments that I would like to say about it but none of them are that nice so I'll just let others express there own feelings about it.

...hmmmm, doubling the area of the CAT5 cable by *not* electrically connecting them together.

...hmmmm, increased "interweb speed" vs the throttling that occurs between the provider and consumer.

    Yup! Makes sense to me!!!

I did that too but I wound the wire counter-clockwise and now my clocks run backwards!

I would imagine it will not have a negative impact. Sometimes unorthodox stuff generates interest. A viewer may wonder about network cables and want to really learn about them after seeing like this.

On the other hand, there are people on youtube advocating the use of free energy and selling kits, those people are scam artists.

Hey, if that video can divert profits from Monster Cable's coffers, I say more power to him! He's not creating gullible sheep; he's just herding the ones that are already out there. At least he's not fleecing them. I see a great future for that guy in sales or marketing. :)

In another video he explains it is all a joke and fake. The one where he reads his hate mail is a bit entertaining....

I think the arrow means the side that the cables shield is connected to, or not connected to, can't remember.

...wow! I fell for the guy's video, hook/line/sinker/boat!!!

As his youtube channel page clearly states:
    Hi. I'm Joe
    • My "Legit Tips" videos are REAL.
    • Everything else is a JOKE.

And now I say - well played Sir, well played!

All my RCA and TRS Monster cables share a ground at both ends. (BTW, didn't but them, inherited them). :)

Wow! Used car sales have nothing on the bucket of bull**** he's selling. Makes Algore look smarter than Einstein! And people are so poorly educated even at the University level that many will believe this cr@p. It would be laughable were it not for the fact this guy seems to really believe what he is saying......

Did not see the this is a joke part, too much going on around here as always. The scary thing is I have run into many people who would believe what this video is claiming. Guess humor can make a powerful point.......

This guy is hilarious! He knows exactly what he's doing and he does it so well. Watch the "hate mail" videos (the language is rough - put the kids to bed first) - the hate mail itself must prove something average net citizen. Thio Joe reads them well and has some insightful comments in response.

The wire whisk for increasing Wifi signal strength is a wonderful idea!!
