Parallax Inc., a manufacturer of microcontroller devices, is constructing its own 20,000-square-foot building in Stanford Ranch's Atherton Tech Center. The company, anticipating growth, will move out of its 5,000-square-foot lease in Stanford Ranch on Jan. 1, and into the new building nearby. It will take up half of it, and lease the other half. Parllax's revenue has been growing between 10 percent and 30 percent annually, an executive said, and the firm Parallax added five employees in the past year.
