Looking for someone to build a prototype board...

I'm looking for someone in the Sacramento area who can build a prototype board for me. It's pretty basic, but I just couldn't do it myself. I know nothing about electronics or circuits but the BASIC stamp really got me interested. I kind of wish at this point that I went for the EET major instead of Computer Information Systems...

I picked up the BASIC stamp kit to play with a few months ago but it couldn't hold the program/variables to run (I needed to use a fairly large lookup table with floating point numbers). Then I upgraded to the Javelin but kept running into technical issues. Support recommended the Propeller, so that is what I have now. I just don't have the time or know how to get the job done. Basically, it needs to read in 3 temps, 2 pressures, 1 humidity level and based on a calculation independently operate 2 solenoids. I have the following hardware:

* 1 - Board of Education USB (with Propeller, item #28850)
* 2 - Temp Probes w/wires (item #28130)
* 1 - Digital Thermometer (item #604-00002)
* 1 - Humidity Sensor (item #JS1-IC)
* For Pressure, I have a pressure transducer with 2 leads that can connect to the board. I only have one for now but will be getting another soon.
* 2 solenoids

If anyone is interested, please PM or email me. Of course, your time and expertise would be compensated.

Thanks!!!

Roger

    What size are you looking for? Express PCB delivers three double sided boards at $51.00.

    Got a schematic?

    If this is a one-off project you then the protoboard would likely fit your parts and act as the prototype. Is this for hobby, business or education? You can find consultants at http://www.parallax.com/Support/Consultants/tabid/382/Default.aspx for business..

    The single most important factor towards the success of a project is the requirements. You can't get what you want it you don't ask for it.

    What is it you want to do? If you can describe it at a high level, we can break it down to to smaller functions until we have a whole bunch of tiny problems that are very easy to solve by code, etc.

    Almost anything can be solved this way, if it is solvable at all.

    Try explaining you goal, and working towards it. Most us us can help. If you just hand it over to somebody else, you miss out on all the fun.

    Skyhouse,
    The "what you want it to do" will be the basis of your software design. The protoboard should have enough area to handle the electronic side.
    I'm in North Highlands and have worked with data acquisition and processing (including the Prop) for awhile now. Drop an email or PM and we can swap phone#s
