Thank you home business people!

I was just reading on another site of a company which concentrated on game development systems but has decided to move onto other areas since the $100K for R&D no longer gives the the required return on the investment. That got me thinking of the many small businesses that have popped up around the Propeller and Basic Stamps. Most of them are found in someone's basement with the staff of one or two working it on a part time basis. Their R&D budget is how much their latest idea will cost in getting the parts and having the PCB made. I know back when the ZX81 was big I got half of my stuff from those "cottage industries". The most interesting things I found come from the home businesses.
I just want to thank you guys because you may not make the millions that the big companies do but you are "the common folk". I found dealing with you is very pleasant and I don't have to deal with the "we won't talk to you unless you have a million dollar contract" attitude like with Texas Instruments (Launch Pad). Also you are the most innovative since you don't spend the thousands on demographics to see if the item will sell or not, you just do it and see if it sells. I know the Propeller has been enhanced due to the products you have built. My hat's off to Parallax too for letting you promote your wares on their forums.
May your businesses flourish. Who knows there may be another Chip Gracey in your group .
