I thought I had the same problem once and used a Spinneret Web Server and two standard servos to make a pan tilt base for a laser. The laser's power was controlled with a relay on another pin leaving one pin of the Spinneret available. The set of drawers the laser pointed at has a label with an IP and you pull up a web page with a listing of parts, click the part and the laser dot guides you to the specific drawer. You could use a cell and voice whatever voice command it has as well.
