Hello,
What is the difference between the VGA SYNC mode and the Data Enable mode?
all of the objects i'v seen run on the SYNC mode. can the propeller run on the DE mode? is there any object for that?

The DE mode is generally for small TTL LCD displays - Rayman is the local expert and has drivers for these kind of displays.
As I understand it the difference is mainly to do with the 'porches' of the signal - I think DE is only active when there are actual pixels being clocked onto the display. Whereas SYNC mode has some significant "idle time" (porches) before & after the line of active video. That's my understanding anyway.
What do you want to connect to?
Is that a 5 foot display?!?
this is the data sheet http://www.distarltd.com/TFT/1/AT050TN33(TP).pdf
it's a 24-bit 480
I would definitely start with Rayman's 4.3" driver, I think it may well work.
