Molex Connectors

Does anyone know of a good, reliable source for the mini molex connectors found on small stepper motors and wired/wireless cameras? I am looking for 2 to 8 connectors. All the searches I have done seem to only come up with the larger ones that are used with power supplies, etc.

Are you sure they're Molex and not JST?

Well, I thought they were Molex. Thanks for clarifying that and the link.

A better search would be :

    http://www.ebay.com/sch/Business-Industrial-/12576/i.html?_nkw=jst

    t
o narrow down "Business and Industrial", without having to look through 4200+ auctions

oops, I just dragged the address off vendor page that I used.
There is a search option on the page. If you enter the pitch and number pins and JST, it should work.
If anyone finds anything cheaper, I'd be interested.

Why mess around with eBay? DigiKey sells JST connectors and stocks them in abundance.

    Howdy Phil,

A perfectly reasonable question. At the time, I didn't know that what I needed was a JST connector. The camera I was fiddling with was a $5 ntsc from Videology. The documentation stated that the connectors were 5 and 6 pin AMP connector, 173981-6 mf.

Well, that didn't help because I could never find a 6-pin AMP connector.

One day I was looking for something else and found out that what I really needed was a 2mm 6pin JST connector.

Never thought about Digikey... just ordered it.

One reason would be free shipping.. from DigiKey it's extremely expensive to buy small items. From their web page:
"A shipping charge of $30 USD will be billed on all orders less than $100 USD" (that's to Norway)
In fact the main reason I buy almost all small items on ebay is due to free or low-cost shipping. If more shops would include the low-cost USPS option for small / low-cost items then I would buy more from them. Fortunately Parallax is in this group.
