Edison also spent a lot of time at his winter home and lab in Ft. Meyers Florida. His next door neighbor was Henry Ford. It's a very cool place to visit if you're ever near there. I went there once back in the 90s. The house had some of Edison's original light bulbs in a chandelier that were still burning after nearly 50 years.
