Each floating led unit could also be pulse controlled using microcontrollers built post inductive transfer (led floating side).
Similar to how DCC works in model railroad, pulsed ac charge of engine unit microcontroller with supercap.

We're finishing a room over the garage, this would be much cooler than the track lighting I was thinking about!
