Hello, everybody,
I was wondering, since my robotics project will involve a few more servos, are there any sites that you can buy servos in bulk and cheap?
Thanks.

I get many items from Ebay China in 7-9 days.
Yesterday I received the last order I placed with them. I ordered one of the $99 quadcopters you told us about on June 27.
BTW, I haven't flown the quadcopter yet, but it sure seems like a really good item for the price. I just need to change some connectors so I can use my batteries with it.
I'm still waiting for the qualities and shipping time. For two bucks, I might just get a dozen and see how consistent they are.
What servo are you looking for? If you have a specific model, I could ask, I think they can get anything that can be gotten, and are desperate to get a bunch of business going.
It's hard to beat the HXT900 at $3.69 for a small servo. The have over a full 180 degrees of travel. They do burn up pretty fast if you apply 8V of power to them (guess how I know).
Erco has even turned a HXT900 into a CR servo.

Just do an Ebay search on 9 gram servos and be ready to pounce when you find the right deal. That said, the Hobby King HXT900 servos are much higher quality & durability.
ebay is listing 9 gram servos for $6.49 cheapest for 1. $26.70 for 10. Don't know how these compare to HXT900
Just got an email from the vendor that they are asking $1.76 each for quantity of 500
$1.90 is for ten.
Also, same with metal gears is $4 each in quantity 500
$4.26 each when buying 10

But when precision motion control is required and I'm building the servos into something permanently (CA'ing them directly together, as I am wont to do) I stick with a name brand, HiTec or Futaba. I used two of their cheapest standard servos ($10 retail at the hobby shop for HiTec 311) on my robot arm and I am extremely pleased with their strength and accuracy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kF6TwbIT384
Those are just $8 at http://www.servocity.com/html/hs-311_standard.html , if you order a lot to offset shipping it's worth it.
