Breaking bottles in the hall, can you help me
Hey you ! don't tell me there's no hope at all

Is there anything worth reading in that pdf? My initial impression is it's a rehash of the water for fuel hoaxes and magnets as perpetual motion machine stuff that is wide spead on the internet.
Looks like I still need to buy gas for the lawn mower.
I think one of the problems of the devices presented in this book is they distract people from pursuing real solutions like you just listed. The few examples I took time to read defied the laws of physics (though the author claimed they didn't). I don't know if the author is just very gullible or if he is also a fraud.

Oh but wait, we are so smart that we still need to BURN rotten dinosaurs/plants/bacteria to SURVIVE. LOL.
Oh, and again we are so smart that we can't resolve the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 1, we just come up with a number that goes on forever.
(although the lack of resolve seems to indicate increased intelligence) But it is an odd concept, you draw a circle and will never be able to figure out exactly its circumference if diameter is 1.
All these "free energy" claims are creative people trying to explain experiments using present day knowledge, natually they will seem out of place, and some are just idiots, but the same can be said for many holders of PHD's in many fields of research.
Who knows how much energy a single atom of hydrogen can create? See now that question is loaded, because, you would have to ask, how are you releasing that energy?
Fission, fusion, decay, chemical bonds, particle collision, inverted vortex interference pattern, bose einstein condensate, etc?
The part to be focused upon shouldn't be claiming free energy, or discrediting people who do,
We should focus on the experiment its self, and the different creative ways to go about it.
95% of people will never try anything, but those same 95% will readily attack anything that doesn't perfectly align with mainstream indoctrinated mass profit corporation zombie bank owned "universities".
Nikola Tesla talked about sending power wirelessly, and sending data wirelessly, and phones that would work without wires.
He was called a quack, and other names, all because he couldn't come up with direct invention to prove claims.
That cell phone you have sitting on your desk right now, isn't real. Neither is the flat panel monitor with thousands of tiny cells that open and close to allow light to pass. Its MAJIK. Go back to bed, nothing to see here, everything has already been invented, particle accelerators figured everything out, and no one has any interest at all in keeping the population so dumb that we are stuck to this planet like white on rice, the majority of us slaving away at meaningless jobs which only benefit the ultra rich(people who are afraid of not having slaves, because they despise the idea of actually doing their own work.) Why plunge yer own poop, when you can pay a slave 9.00$ an hour to do it for you, while you manipulate the market using the massive capital you inheritied, not caring that you just eliminated 10,000 jobs.
Free market technology eliminates slavery, and that is clearly not what people in power want, TESLA proved this with his Wardenclyfe tower in New Jersey.
After being de-funded, many years later the US MILITARY tore the tower down because they "claimed" that it could be used for landmark ID at war.
I feel very comfortable dismissing the claims of getting more energy from burning oxygen and hydrogen than was used to separate it from water.
I also feel very comfortable dismissing the claims of generators with a big fly wheel attached that can power a motor which then drives the same generator and creating an excess of energy in the process.
These magnetic and electric forces aren't so mysterious to those trained at "mainstream indoctrinated mass profit corporation zombie bank owned "universities"." These universities have gotten very good a tracking where all the energy of a system comes from and where is all goes.
If you've read the book and think there is merit to one or more of the experiments I'd like to know which experiments you think are worth investigating. The ones I perused, I'd feel very comfortable, betting any amount, that they don't work.
There are some very interesting areas of energy research. I just hate that research effort is wasted on claims that violate basic principles that are well understood.
If these inventions really work then why do any of the inventors still get their power from the grid and why aren't they selling their excess power to their neighbors?
Do you exclude some of the authors of the ebooks from this opinion? I don't suppose you'd exclude anyone else?
I have to ask .. what I am I doing to solve Energy issues ..
Oh Yea I dont own a car .. I own NO gasoline powered devices . My entire house is on LED lights . I ride a electric bike at the risk I might be shot at for being a dork .. I use low power computers a laptop and a mac mini .
I do quack research . I modded a Electric golf car in to a full hybrid with propane ( CNG is not easy to get in Iowa )
I own a 10 KILOWATT! tesla coil . but I know full and well that all its good for is for fun .
I refuse to Judge others research any more , at this point as long as its there cash being blown on some car mod then Hey ! they are stimulating Our Economy ! keeping the local radioshack in Biz . its There issue .
Thankfully all the Real research is back by Real money . I don't see 45 Mil heading to Joe's auto shop .
I do see 45 Mil heading to Oregon state .. Ill be less then a hour from them at Oregon tech where I have major plans to do some Heavy Research .
Along the lines of MPPT and solar inter-tie and better Batt mannagement.
I wouldn't call it that. You're not claiming the impossible.
I like to think my judging of others research has saved family members a lot of money. My in-laws were about to buy $75 laundry balls for each of their six children but decided to wait to buy them until talking with me. After reading how the devices supposedly worked I was sure it was a scam. Most people wouldn't have known they had been scammed since if people followed the instructions that came with the ball their cloths would likely be cleaned (by water). My in-laws followed my advice and did not purchase the laundry balls. They did start using much less soap and much more water in with their laundry which also produced much better results than using the laundry ball.
My in-laws sent me a news clipping a few months later about how one of the state's comsumer protection agencies had issued a warning about these laundry balls and they again thanked be for my advice earlier.
A court recently ordered the restitution of investments people had made in a water powered car.
I'd sure like to see all the effort spent on violating the first and second laws of thermodynamics spent in a more productive fashion.
Tesla's AC motor didn't violate these laws nor did any of his working inventions.
I refuse to judge what others are researching . not the end results ...
The end paper I am VERY picky about .
as Iam ( was ) in a very low ball college I have had no real funded research .
while I was at UNI ( unknown to them as they did not give a hoot)
I looked in to how SLA batts do under varying amounts of Heat to maximize peak discharge .
made a new and improved way to charge SLA batts with a 3 step charger ...
found a novel way to build a MPPT and its feedback ..( this was a BIG one )
charatureized the loading effeccts of 1000s of amps accross a contactor bank.
developed a novel way to copper weld copper buss chunks to larger buss with no cross section loss .
developed a novel way to make a dirt cheap 1-90A and 1-450A Electronic DC Load . saving UNI over 5 Grand .* a big one *
all of this was for the solar boat team that Our dept head does not consider research...
for personal in the last year...
new way to charge NiMH batts with a cap based taper charger for standby apps
new way to excite a Alternator to provide automatic loading .
study the effects of HV resonance on MOV over voltage protection
re study the effects of TEC modules in a personal HVAC system .
nvestigate the effects on twin motor Ebike tracton control..

And solar panels, and windmills, etc.
So it stands to reason that there may be things that extract energy from the environment in a way that hasn't been exploited before, and magnetism and electricity are good candidates, being invisible and not so obvious to casual users.
So I'm reading through all of them, till I find one that strikes my fancy, and I think I can find parts for, and that will look cool and scare the neighbors.
So far none claim the impossible. per se, they claim something "different" as a way to extract energy from the environment. And some are just goofy, to be sure, but still fun.
Again, I think the ways of harvesting energy you mention are great examples of science in action. I look forward to learning about any research you conduct in energy harvesting.
I doubt you'll find worthy candidate to investigate in this ebook that has any hope of extracting energy from the environment. From what I've read, they are variations of converting energy from one from to another and claiming in the process they've captured energy from the environment.
I think this example is represents most if not all ideas in the book well (from page 4-2).
The "energy harvester" is supposedly going to keep on turning since its lead balls hit the different sides of the cylinder with less impact. If the inventer or the author of the book had taken high school physics they would have learned about conservation of momentum and not have wasted their time with this "invention".
The other "inventions" just shuffle around the energy in more complicated ways but they're still just moving energy from within a closed system they aren't harvesting any energy. Though "zero-point" energy is frequently cited.
If someone claims they can jump to the moon by painting their shoes a certain pattern with a specific color of orange paint, I'm not going to bother to try it myself. Many (probably all) inventions in this ebook or as absurd as claiming they can jump to the moon with orange shoes.
There's even an AIDs cure in this book. I didn't find any ghost hunting equipment but it wouldn't have surprised me much if I had.
If I inadvertently overlooked some invention with merit please let me know. It is my arrogant egotistical opinion these inventions listed in this ebook are all garbage.
Crystal radio ........... I mean you are powering Headphones off a EM wave in free-space.
but is it reallly gona power a car . noooo.
Peter...
Build a machine to replicate the claimed results, and show evidence why it works or not. Like Xanadu with his LERNER experiment. That's science!
The permanent magnet motors look like they work. That could be fun. They won't run forever, but they look like they should run just as well and regular motors. That's at least interesting.
And our achievements will build the future who will look back and see where we were wrong and right.
Invention either creatively or scientifically, still require toil in real world phenomena.
Prof Looks like I am one of the few who has a TON of fun ! Esp while working .

prof, I have fun all the time. I'm typing this as I take a break from building a quadcopter. It's fun to show a Pack of Cub Scouts how to put a LED and resistor in a breadboard and see their faces when it lights up.
What's not fun is trying to convince my nephew that his friend of a friend's engine that splits water into hydrgen and oxygen and then burns it (with excess energy) is bogus. A lot of people believe these perpetual motion machines (not energy harvesters) are possible and get scammed out of money when they invest in them.
If someone wants to build a wheel with tubes having one hard end cap and one spongy end cap, that might be fun to them. Don't expect it to produce energy. It might also be fun to paint your shoes orange, just don't expect to jump to the moon in them.
There are plenty of legitimate ways of trying to harvest energy, I'm pretty darn sure you will dramatically increase your likelihood of failing to harvest energy by using this book as a guide.
You'll also not cure AIDs with this book nor dramatically increase your lifespan (another claim made in the book). This is a collection or really bad pseudoscience. Again, if there is a particular invention within the book anyone thinks really is harvesting energy, then please let me know which one(s) it is.
There are lots of pdfs on the internet of cutting edge technology and lots of things worth investigating, I hate to see people diverted away from their productive efforts by the really bad science this book teaches.
I get energy from them and just now EMI is blocking the rays in this direction.
How do I remove the EMI energy sink.
Hmm..An odd thought. EMI = Electro Magnetic Interference. Which is exactly what EMI the company is here at the moment.

Edit: Songs are gone. Heater is right.
Thank you for your effort there. Sadly I cannot take advantage of it just now. I'm away from my PC and only have this phone to play with.
Anyway, I'm not sure we should be exposing Parallax forums to claims of copyright infringement, "piracy" as they call it now a days.
Cheers.
However, I did manage to snag a big zip. Forgot that there is free wifi here.
Now I have to wait for the thought police to break down the door!!
Cheers.
dude atleast do it in a PM .......
