Does anyone have experience with vrbot voice recognition module? I would like to try one out and start playing with it, but i think it can only be programmed in c. The only language i'm a little familiar with is spin, and was wondering if there was a cross over program or alternative to learning c in order to use it.-mike

I'm pretty sure VRbot is what was used with the SayIt modules.

Yes, I just looked at the back of the PCB I removed from a SayIt (to make it smaller) and it has "VRbot" printed on it.

I haven't used these modules much (yet) but you just send them serial data to interface with it.

Parallax has code that uses a BS2 as a serial bridge that lets the PC GUI interface with the VRbot module. I wrote a similar bridge program for the Propeller.

Edit: The GUI is attached to post #5 of this thread.
