Looking for different solution for EB301 to connect to BoeBot

I purchased an EB 301 to see if I can get it to work with my BoeBot. According to the YouTube video, I need one of theses: http://www.eit.lth.se/fileadmin/eit/courses/edi021/datablad/Logik/CMOS/mc14049ub.pdf
I was just wondering if anyone knows of any other IC's that I might be able to use that is possibly available at Radio Shack. I found one on EBay but the guy wants way too much to ship. Other suppliers want me to order in bulk. I only need a couple!!! I just landed a ton of IC's from a garage sale but unfortunately this is not one of them Thanks if youcan help.
