Milone eTape problems

I was wondering if anybody knows how to set up the Mionetech eTape sensor using the BS2 board. I am not getting any output from the sensor. I used the circuit titled simple and the source code attached. When I connected the circuit to an ohmmeter, It gave me the proper output, yet I can't seem to get the sensor to output using RCTime. Also the appnotes detail how to use the solder tab version. How would you hook up the 4 prong version detailed in the datasheet.

You do not show the capacitor in the circuit you posted. RC time needs the capacitor for the circuit to work. Take a look at the circuit in the app notes ( http://www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/prod/sens/eTape_AppNotes.pdf ). The data sheet shows how the pins are connected to the internal resistors. Pins 1 & 4 are Rref, pins 2 & 3 are Rsense
