He likely never programmed a microcontroller, but I suspect he is known and will be missed by many here. 95 years is a ripe old age, and he was fairly healthy to the end. RIP, Commander McHale.

Phil Pilgrim (PhiPi)

He was at his quintessential best opposite Tim Conway in McHale's Navy (and managed to avoid Conway's excursion into self-parody). That's how I'll always remember him: honest ... but definitely never glamorous or attention-craving.
