PPDB On Sale!

After letting mine collect dust for longer than I care to admit, I'm now realizing the vast benefits of the Propeller Professional Development Board. When I went to the product page to download the schematic, I noticed that it's on sale until July 3rd: $119.99, down from $149.99.

That board is a bargain at the regular price, but with $30 off, it's a bona-fide steal!

If you're prototyping circuitry that's external to the Prop, this is the board to have, if for no other reason than the high quality of the solderless breadboard area. Parts that are inserted into it -- including DIPS -- say put and don't pop out. (When using the smaller breadboards supplied with the BOE and Demo board, you sometimes have to use an IC socket to keep DIPS secured.)

    Nice find Phil!

I love the RTC , MAX3232, VGA and the 16 segment digits.

If I didn't have three, I might have gotten another.

Agree'd! Everyone should have one of these on the bench! This is my favorite prototyping board.

ya those things are pricey, but if i could afford one i would definately pick one up along with a c3. Instead of a proto board/quickstart i built my own dev board when i was getting started becuase i wanted to understand exactly how the prop worked, i sugest everone build a prop board once for educational purposes. But the two boards mentioned above are great if u know what your doing already. between the two of them u basically have every piece of basic hardware you need to accomplish most anything, they make live easy you need a 7 segment and rtc? keyboard and vga? its all there getting you started on your code quickly and without hassle! id suggest anyone who can take advantage of this sale! im pretty sure u wont regret it i know i wouldnt. soldering everything togather and doing all the calculations just consumes a lot of time!
