Propellor Tool Question

I have noticed that the Prop Tool cannot see included objects that are open as tabs in the editor.

It claims to look for :

- editor tabs,
- in the work folder and
- in the library.

V1.3

Is that a bug?

Cheers

Richard

I've also noticed this. I'd call it a bug.

Microsoft would call it an undocumented feature.

It seems likely that Spin and PASM development is migrating to SimpleIDE. I see this as a good thing

-- developed by a programmer that actually programs and deploys Propeller chips, hence seems more open and sensitive to user feedback
-- is cross-platform, which allows everyone to join the party (yeah, yeah, I know about BST, but I have concerns with it, too)

This is to say that one should not hold out hope that there's going to be another release of PropTool that fixes anything, or includes basics like toolbar buttons.

    SIDE is open source too!

I believe the open source SPIN/ASM compiler will be included within SIDE, in the future, to make it a complete tool for everything propeller related.
