Propeller Help Needed!!!

I have a propeller protoboard that I am trying to connect my Ping)) sensor to. The Ping sensor is not getting any power and I was wondering if it would be because I am not supporting power to it properly. I have a 1k resistor going from the I/O pin to my Sig. Pin. It worked on my Boe-Bot just fine with the BS2, However I know the Boe-Bots power supply is uthwise prestamped into the board. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Requires +5V VDC? If you have at least that, I don't know why it wouldn't work? http://learn.parallax.com/KickStart/28015

There's a jumper (JP1) near the servo sockets that selects either +5V or +3.3V for the power source for all four of the servo sockets. Make sure it's set correctly for what you've got plugged into the servo sockets. Neither the PING nor R/C servos will work off +3.3V.

I have the Propeller Educational Board. I had to assemble it on a bread board. There is no sockets for jumpers or servos. How do I make sure I have enough power?

It kinda depends what your power source is...I don't think I know the Prop Education Board, unless you mean the Propeller Board of Education (in which case there are headers you can jump wires to from the breadboard to power rails). As long as your power rail for your propeller is at least +5VDC, then just wire the ping sensor's power line to that?
