linux gcc src and makefile in a zip??

a little earlier i got the android version of spin running and installed debian on my phone. i wanted to ompile gcc and get it running too, so i can staet playing with this idea of using my phone to program the prop.
anyways i went to the gcc site and went to source to find out the code is a respritory. domt get me wrong im a huge git fan but sometimes especially when working from a phone its nice to just get a zip. ill tell u guys what if u link me to preferably a zip (not tar.gz) for i686 linux src ill link you to arm binaries of gcc
