Here's a concept that I would love Parallax or anyone else to make
It's like a Spin Stamp, but adds micro SD and RTC on the front, and backup battery on the back. The RTC is the DS3232M which has integrated mems resonator.
It could be made in single (stamp), or double length (prop DIP40) versions. The double length version as 3 pins from the first prop to boot/program the second prop.
There is a regulator bypass pad on the back for operation when Vin=3v3. A QFN version would eliminate many vias and free up a bit of space.
