Using the micro SD socket to drive an SPI lcd display

Can we use the micro SD connections to drive an SPI LCD display ?
Using a MicroSD to SD flat cable and the Sparkfun SD Spy board, i think it maybe possible to drive an LCD SPI display. This will save precious pins as i don't need micro SD storage in my project.
But, i wonder if i can use both the SPI LCD and MIcroSD card using a kind of enable/diable trick. Any idea ?:thumb:
