How to connect xbee 802.15.4 on BOE to xstick

I have this XBee S1 that i have to plug on the Board of Education (from Parallax) and establish a connection with an xstick plugged to a laptop. I'm new on this thing and i've read up some reference found online but i'm still not sure which pin of the xbee should connect to which pin of the BOE and how to establish connection between the xbee and xstick?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Rankalt, welcome to the forums. I see this is your first post!

Are you using the Propeller BOE or the BASIC Stamp BOE? For the Propeller BOE you simply plug it into the socket and jumper Tx/Rx to the lower left side of the header. For the BASIC Stamp BOE you'll use the XBee SIP Adapter and plug it right into the breadboard, making jumper wire connections to I/O pins, power and ground.

The XStick will plug into your PC and allow you to send/receive data to the BOE.

Download the "Getting Started with XBee Tutorial" - the examples in this book are really easy and apply to both processors.
