I keep seeing all kinds of testing equipment etc.. etc.. made by these people, but cant seem to find anything out about the company. IE are they worth anything, or are their products for the most part worthless... etc.. etc.. ??

They seem to focus primarily on the educational market these days. I've built a couple of their kits (many years ago) and they were well designed. I still have one of their FM radio kits that I've never assembled. I've seen good reviews of some of their power supply kits. It looks like a lot of their non-kit test equipment is just the same old re-branded stuff you see everywhere.

I bought probes for the oscilloscope, among other things. These were the highest quality and lowest price of anything else I found.

They are in business to make money, but they aren't jerks about it. They get good stuff in such quantities that they can resell it at a better price. Since they buy stuff from china like everybody else, they have to get clever. So far, they are a benefit to me at least.

Sometimes they end up with more than they want to stock, and we see the extras at American Science and surplus for about the same price.

In addition to the education stuff they have test equipment and bench stuff which is not the most expensive, but is pretty good for the price.

If they have what I'm looking for, I get it there.

I have a 30meg dual input scope. I like it for the money. Tech support is great, I broke something in the tube moving it, they replaced the tube free.
