No no, you only get $5 for not clicking once. The second time you don't click gets you nothing and so on.
Presumably Erco does not want to pay up in advance of you not clicking, after all you might click in the future.
So to be sure he has to wait until we all die and he can be sure we did not click.

But if I'm dead, how can I be sure Erco will pay me?
And if I'm dead, then he's not paying me, he's paying off all the debts I'll owe.
So perhaps we should apply a probabilistic approach? It seems that somehow Schrodinger's equation might be applicable here.
Easy guys, I'm good for the money, people owe me millions. As soon as Publisher's Clearinghouse pays up and the east African minister of finance transfers tall that money into my account, I'll share the wealth. I may already be a winner!
You almost got me with that one! Fortunately, I saw at the bottom of the browser where your link was taking me, and stopped my finger as it was heading for the mouse button. Keeping my options open (never know when I might need that $5)!

So now erco owes me $5 and one million Fahnestock clips.

I can feel my resolve slipping. I just know that's where all the fun is right now on the forum.
Maybe I can hold out a few more hours. Do we get partial payments for delayed clicks?
I also couldn't mask that Erco's posts have saved me a bundle in hardware either so I have to help him save money too. Go Erco!
