Organize your parts: free inventory software

Hi guys

I've just deployed a web app that i created to help me keep track of my parts inventory. I figured why not share it with others. So i've added the login function (so everyone who signed up has their own inventory, duh

note: after you signup, don't forget to click on link in email to confirm.

Interface is very basic and not stellar looking yet. I plan to keep on improving it as time permits (i have a long list of improvements and features i would like to add, and of course i am open for suggestions)

    Got it. I like it.

    Can you make it so that when I click a part it sends a serial command on my serial port for my laser locator?

    I have a software program to organize personal data which I will also make available free to forum members. Send me a PM with your SSN, all your credit cards w/CCVs, and Paypal online bank account numbers & passwords. I guarantee they will be stored in a secure location for future retrieval. :)

    I will have a lot of credit cards in the futre. I'm gonna be sooo rich.
    I invested everything I have in Facebook stocks and BitCoins.
    BitCoins are the future and I know Facebook will have at least 10 billion users in two years, if not even more.
    Can't go wrong. :-)

    thanks for constructive comments guys, looks like some of you keep your flux capacitor info that close to chest :)
    hmm, maybe i should add that SSN field...

    for what it's worth, the server is secure enough for this project (i work in the industry) and i back up the db and will soon add the export to excel(cvs) for personal backup or if you decide to use a spreadsheet instead later on. I also plan to add features like integrating with search service such as Octopart.com, let people get in touch to sell unused stock, etc, which would be impossible with just a spreadsheet. Got some ideas...

    Could you make a version where I could try out the software without signing up? I have no idea what goes on behind that login, and before I commit I would like to try it out (or at least see some screenshots).
