Prop to RS-232

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I've been looking around for a while and can't quite find what I'm looking for yet. I'm trying to use the propeller board as a controller for a robot through the robot's RS-232 port. Baud rate 9600 no parity 8 bits and 1 stop bit. I'm not sure exactly how I would wire such a connection. I've read on the forums that a MAX232 circuit will be needed to supply the voltage to the RS-232. If anyone has any schematics, wiring diagrams, or general suggestions they would all be incredibly helpful. Thank you!

I used the attached circuit in a project for a friend. Yes, it works.

In the end he didn't need the RTS and CTS lines but they're in the circuit as options.
