Preferably, the TV should have a "Video In" connection. In my experience this is usually a RCA connector and yellow in color.

I've seen TVs where the connector is labeled "Game" as well.

Some TVs will need to have their mode changed to "Input" or "Game".

And note that the video driver needs to be written for PAL output. The frequencies are different than NTSC.

...unless color isn't needed. Many of the video drivers will display on a PAL device just fine, sans color.

The Parallax Graphics_Demo.spin can be configured for PAL, and it's one of the better signals possible, if you are looking for a known good sample. That one can also be configured for broadcast. On NTSC, I tried it and got reasonable results. Don't know whether or not the PAL broadcast works the same.

Composite video, is the default for all the video drivers we've got. Few do Broadcast, and those that do were built off the Parallax Reference TV.spin.

Not only color matters, older PAL TVs cannot display @ 60Hz; PAL is 50 Hz vertical frequency.

Newer TVs used in Europe can display PAL and NTSC, so it is no problem to use NTSC signal (if you have any TV somewhere in your room)

The reverse happens here too, though it's been a long time since I used a set that wouldn't display PAL 50.

    Thanks for this hint !

I have used the Graphics_Demo.spin and the Graphics_Palette.spin.
Both without any changement, both works !

All other spins who produce pal signals don't work !
