BTW, the Stamp forum is suddenly back up & working for me now, so I'll just keep my cash for the next emergency.

Wasn't there a group back east that, for some money each month would make sure "nothing bad" would happen to you? Perhaps that's where your money should go.

FB, thanks; our 2-week vacation is officially half over. QTH is Ohio, with in-laws. Tomorrow we're leaving after a fairly restful week to drive 600 miles with twins in the rain to SC, where a week of manual labor and house repair is in order at the old homestead. So I guess the vacation really ends today...
