Places for Cool Toys

Running through todays email and realized that though many of us in these forums are in the electronics field for a living, many are not. For them, therefore, I am going to suggest they look at Avnet, Mauser, and others. Granted, they are not the lowest price sources out there, but they usually come up with some cool sample and evaluation kits. Sometimes they will get a special deal from TI or others to get interest/skills up to speed so we then can get something fun to learn without angering the controller (at least on expenditures). The local Avnet office has run some interesting seminars as well. I think the NXP USB /ARM course was under $100.00, a bargain for nearly a full day of good training and hands on. Plus you walked with a new evk and the course docs.
