Scientific Aquatic Robots with Swarm Abilities

FYI - UC Berkeley is testing out new networked aquatic robots for water quality testing. They are testing the concept of a 100 smart phone enabled floating robots. They look a bit like blenders on steroids but are very interesting. They use some odd processor but cool nonetheless and the concept of working together as a mobile network in complex settings is novel.
