Waterproofing the basic stamp

Hello Fellow Stampers,
I am working with an industrial application of the basic stamp which will require it to enter a very wet environment. I was curious if anyone had ran across a good off the shelf option for protecting the stamp in such environments. Any information you could provide would be great. Thanks in advance.

Look for housings rated to NEMA 4X or IP65. You will also need to provide waterproof connectors or cable glands for any external connections.

Easy off the shelf product would be a Pelican Case, and some waterproof connectors for anything external.

Or just send it here - http://www.liquipel.com/ LOL...

I like the WC series because of the clear tops.

Would there be heating issues with the stamp circuit board if it were simply dipped in varnish?

I'd worry about the varnish attacking some of the components such as electrolytic caps.

jst - have you considered "conformal coating"?

I've seen suppliers for spray-on and brush-on versions.
