Speed Issue with ColorPAL

G'day everyone.

I've just been working on some code with the ColorPAL, and I noticed was running quite slowly (1/3 / secondish), is it just me, or is the ColorPAL slow? Either way, is there some way I can speed it up?

I've attached my code as a .zip file, it is pretty much the OBEX ColorPAL code, with a few tweaks.

Looking at the code in your zip, my sense is that it's not the ColorPAL, per se, but the driver and demo code that are inefficient. Try the attached instead, and see if you get improved performance.

I haven't tried this code yet, however, how fast have you been able to get the ColorPAL working yourself?

Tried the code, works great, thanks. It also functions quite a bit faster - maybe not quite as fast as I would have liked, but probabbly fast enough for my purposes.
