Internet Controlled Eddie Robot

I have an Eddie robot I control using a wireless xbox 360 controller and skype video using a webcam that is mounted on the top. Currently I can drive the Eddie around the room and using another computer see what is in front of it. However the xbox 360 controller is limited by range of the wireless receiver. Ideally, I would like to find a way to send the wireless video over skype and the controls for the xbox 360 controller over the internet too. That way I will be able to drive the eddie anywhere it is within an internet connection. Does anyone know a program that can send the xbox 360 controller commands over the internet to another computer? Thanks for any help!
