SERIN/SEROUT with a 3.3V device

I'm trying to get my BS2 use a 3.3V transceiver to send data.
Obviously a 3.3V voltage supply is required voor 3.3V devices, but what about the I/O pins on both BS2 and these devices, is there an easy way to set up asynchronous serial in this case?

Kind regards

Erik

The Propeller is a 3.3V device and often has to interface to 5V devices. There's a whole thread on the subject and it applies to your situation as well. Some 3.3V devices are "5V Tolerant" which means that they can be directly connected to a 5V device like the Stamp. Typically, in other cases, you use a series resistor on the output pin from the Stamp, something like 4.7K to 10K. The input pin to the Stamp can be connected directly.
