Hi. Good Day Everyone!

I have a BS2 and a Prov.Dev.Kit and I'm planning to make a digital pressure gauge. like for example: car wheel's pressure.
Can someone tell me what materials needed to make this thing work. Thanks!

A suitable pressure sensor, for starters. I'd buy a digital tyre pressure meter, and use the one in that.

Thank You Sir,, But of course its cheaper if I'll but the materials separately. and I'd like to ask for an exact pressure sensor for it.,. can you post a link of a sample pressure sensor sir.. Thanks in advance.. Good Day...

I looked around a bit after your initial question. All the pressure sensors I found (at Parallax and SparkFun) are for measuring atmospheric pressure and don't read high pressure levels.

I'm sure there are sensors for measuring higher pressures, I'm just not familiar with any. I'm guessing many of the other forum members are also unfamiliar with such sensors since they haven't replied.

Leon, makes a good suggestion on how to find such a sensor. If the sensor in the commercial product has markings on it, you might be able to track down a source for the bare sensor.

I just did a quick check at Digi-Key... search under "Sensors, Transducers", then "Pressure". I put in a search for a sensor reading absolute pressure in the 0-50 psi range and it came back with 462 hits. You might want to check there. Haven't checked Mouser or Jameco, but I would imagine they carry some of these types of sensors as well.
