This is cool. I read about something like this a while ago... this could make it so you could control stuff from your tixel-touch screen right in your pocket without even having to glance at it! Seems like it might make using technology while driving safer since it could be designed to not require sight at all! And the applications for the visually impaired are, well, obvious. So how long before Parallax offers a "Tixel" touch screen for us? :-) I'll buy one!

That is awesome, this could be the future of touch screens. Now you can have a touchscreen keyboard with tactile feedback that would allow you to feel the keys, which would give a huge advantage to touchscreen keyboards! I can't wait to see this used in a consumer device, even if it does take years. Hopefully Android picks it up first, I could use an upgrade.
