Prop BOE Enclosures???

Oh Great Creators of Wonderful Things,

Are there any plans for Prop BOE enclosures on the horizon? Mine likes to travel back and forth to work with me in my computer bag and doesn't feel safe in its anti-static bag. I was looking at using a multiboard enclosure tonight but not enough of the hoels really match up well. I suppose I could always wrap a robot around it!

Thanks!

Rick and friends, could you tell us what kind of design features you'd like?

As I sat and played and pondered in front of the TV, I was wondering what would be most effective. It's a dynamic board and you need access to so much of it when playing. The power options make it difficult to enclose - 9 volt sticking out in one direction, power connect in the other direction.

I was mostly thinking about protection for transporting it. Once you safely arrive, the top and sides should come of easily. If they don't come off, then the sides need to have holes to access everything.

Something like the Mountain King case for the PPDB with a top that securely fastens?

Good question, Ken. It's a difficult package to wrap.

You need a BOE 4xAA battery pack with a connector to go under the PropBOE board and a bottom battery door for quick access.
