Reversible Prop Platform board?

Was just contemplating a Prop Platform board with 4-pin power headers on both sides of the 16-pin data header...
Haven't thought it through completely, but maybe this would let you put shields on two different ways...
Some of my shields use only the upper pins P16..P31.
But, there could sometimes be an advantage to using them on the lower pins P0..P15...
Maybe this would let people do that.
I suppose this would mean the SD card pins would have to be moveable somehow.
On the other hand, maybe this would just make things more confusing than worthwhile...

The traces on the sides are set up so that you can turn the board around or shift it anywhere along the length of the Prop Platform. You can just solder in jumpers from wherever the power connections end up to the appropriate traces or buses on the board.
I think that for some uses this is a good idea (otherwise I wouldn't have made my boards that way). You can see from the incredible response I got to that post how popular the idea was. (For those who don't want to follow the link, the post got exactly zero responses ).
What a cool idea! Sounds like a handy PCB.

The difficulty I can see is that two quadrants have increasing pin numbers, and two decreasing pin numbers, relative to the power header. Granted, that doesn't matter for most objects, since we can reassign pins, but the video objects might have to go in defined positions.
