Hi, i am working on a application requiring to differentiate between different shades of yellow colour that too with high accuracy. Currently i am using rgb sensor to do the work taking blue filter only as a complimentory colour to yellow but the accuracy is not good enough. Can anyone suggest a better way or are there any other sensors available to do the work.

You will probably get better results if you also incorporate the other filters into your processing. Then you can compute the color distances (e.g. Cartesian, minimax, etc.) between each unknown sample and a set of stored samples of known shades, picking the one which is "closest."
